My ears tell me Brian Ferry is not singing vow ?

Rumors have it he wrote this so jerry hall would stay with him.

Not sure which version I like better, even though I know the brain ferry version a much longer.
They are not that different.

Mabye Brian misread the lyrics ?

I ones read on a website, that indeed Brian ferry wrote this to keep Jerry Hall.

Later though, I found out he did not write it...

And jerry hall moved on to jagger.

More proof he does not sing vow, but I cant make out what he sings in that first line after marriage. sounds like trouwn ?
