AT2020USB+ microphone Audio Input not working in Bitwig Studio 4.3

Hello,

I've recently bought a class compliant AT2020USB+ mic but I somehow didn't manage to get it to work as an audio input in Bitwig Studio.
The mic is instantly recognized as both an audio input and an audio interface by my computer (via Pulse Audio I guess) and also works well with Audacity (Pulse Audio again?) where the program is directly able to record audio from the mic and also use monitoring, but nothing seems to work in Bitwig Studio.
When going to Bitwig's audio settings, I get to choose between 4 different audio systems :
-ALSA (which I can't seem to be able to choose ?)
-JACK
-PipeWire
-Pulse Audio (for which Bitwig claims is can't use audio input)
Both ALSA and Pulse Audio seem to be dead ends for my use case, but I can select PipeWire and Jack and both audio inputs and outputs seem supported. The problem now is that even with a right audio system selected, my mic is not detected as an audio input and I don't really know how to fix this. I guess I have to make it work in Jack or PipeWire before being able to select it in Bitwig.
So could someone please help me out ?
I'm 16 and not very knowledgeable with Linux, so I don't really know where to start.
Thank you for reading! :D

You may need to create an input bus and select your mic from the drop down

Thank you for your answer :D , but I still can't go any further :(
This is what I see in Bitwig, but apparently there's no input available.

And here's a screenshot of my system audio management tab where you can see that the mic is connected and recognized by the system.

Hi! There was a bug in the Linux kernel starting with 5.19.9 that broke audio input with some USB devices, perhaps that could be the reason?
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=216500
It has been fixed in 5.19.12 and solved it for me.

I have Bitwig. I see from your screenshot you are trying to add a stereo source. Have you tried adding mono?
Also, are you using JACK or Pipewire?

5.19.12 had serious issues reported for Intel laptops with integrated GPU. Fixed in 5.19.13 - https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/intel/-/issues/7013

I was indeed still using Jack just a few days ago, but then I set up Pipewire using these instructions : https://ubuntuhandbook.org/index.php/20 ... untu-2204/
It only works on Kubuntu 22, but now everything works perfectly and I'm able to select my mic from the dropdown. :D
