Hi,
Anyone who tried puredyne? It's an live cd, but you can also install it afaik. It's based on Ubuntu (9.10). It is focusing on stuff like Pd, supercollider, fluxus etc. But the dvd version has also a lot of recording tools. ( http://download.goto10.org/puredyne/car ... D.packages )
Maybe I give it a try this week.

Re: Puredyne distro
It uses xfce as WM. After a quick test of the DVD, I can say it performs well. It contains stuff like SuperCollider, Pd, and some nice video processing tools. Also radio and streaming software and video editing software. Normal recording apps, like Ardour, Calf plugins etc. (same version as in Ubuntu 9.10) and some 'not very common ones' like milkytracker etc. It's pretty recent (based on Ubuntu 9.10) but it's focusing on performance not on fancy desktop. You can install it after booting, like an ubuntu-live cd.
Very nice and open community at first sight.
