Greetings from France :) !

I make music with linux since 2003, it was a little bit rude at this time. Ardour freed me when it became available in specialized distribution (TangoStudio, such an efficient french one). My favorite genre is prog rock as a player/composer but I'm open to many other styles. Playing guitars, bass, synths, modulars and percussions.
You can listen to my contributions in a web-based band called Alco Frisbass here :

And here :

Entirely mixed in Ardour with LV2 plugins and partially composed/recorded with them.
CC licensed.

Now my leader project is to finish my personnal studio at home which I hope being a good place for the libre recorded music.

Happy to be here ! 🙂

Welcome! Very welcome, actually (as a prog fan) :D I see you are on Prog Archives:

which of those tracks/albums were done in Ardour? Also, which LV2 plugins did you use? This is important for posterity, as I am trying to document professional uses of Ardour and libre software in general. Thanks! :D

Hi @Basslint !

Sorry for the delay, notifications died in the limbs   ...

In fact it's a little bit tricky to detail what is what made in ardour or not, because of our way to work. Speaking about the two last albums (Le Bateleur, Le Mystère du Gué Pucelle), what I can say is all tracks are entirely mixed in Ardour, a 3th of the materials are recorded there :
- All bass
- All acoustics percussions
- All acoustics guitars
- Part of electric guitars (those which sound more like Yes )
- A little part of keys and synths (some leads, modulars and fx...)

In function of what you want to bring with your interesting initiative, I could open projects again to push more details. Feel free to tell more about it !
