Hi!
I'm quite new to this and doing a lot of tutorials on Ardour.
For a little project I would need a soundfont for a mandolin but I still had no success to find any.
Can anybody point me to one?
Many thanks in advance!
Kind regards,
Thomas

There's a mandolin SFZ in my collection of guitars at http://www.bandshed.net/sounds/sfz/nbb_guitars.zip . You can use it with sfizz or Linuxsampler or Sforzando. Otherwise, I think that one of the sf2 editors can convert sfz to sf2.

@mrlinux

Using it does require working out how to get the various Labs plugins installed under Wine, but there are a *tone* of cool instruments available, free-as-in-beer.

Not free, but PrecisionSound's Kloo Mandolin ($49 USD) is available in SoundFont format...
