Hello to all,
I have been registered here for about 1 year and have found a lot of interesting information. Thank You !
It's about time that I also briefly introduce myself here.
I am a multi-instrumentalist (guitar, bass, keyboard/synthesizer, drums, trumpet) with emphasis on guitar and synthesizer. Music is my lifeblood.
Technically I'm using Linux in the form of 'Ubuntu Studio' for about 2 years. As the audio interface I'm using the Behringer UMC404HD since a short time. As a keyboard I have my Juno-106 connected, as an instrument, but also as a MIDI keyboard for the software synthesizers. As the DAW I'm using Reaper, although I also want to look at Ardour.

In this sense I greet all members here and stay healthy.

Hey @FenderBaba, welcome! Tell me more about the trumpet. I play clarinet, I'm learning saxophone, and I can kind of play keys. I want to make some kind of jazz fusion and would love to collaborate with a brass player.

I learned to play the trumpet when I was about 40 years old. We were a group of friends who loved making music. So we formed a carnival music group together and it was a lot of fun. And of course also a lot of work

But I also want to be honest. In the meantime, I have a health problem that limits my ability to make music with instruments. For example, playing the guitar, which I love very much, is becoming more and more difficult. For home use it is still okay, but even before that is no longer possible, I have concentrated more and more on software controlled electronic music in the last years. This is also a lot of fun, although I can't sit at it for very long.
But hey, that's life, which you can't always choose and I try to make the best of it
