USB/ADAT 24CH

I'm looking for an USB Interface that provides (at least) three optical ADAT I/Os. What could be interesting are RME Digiface, which doesn't work on Linux (a HDSP PCI card works for more than ten years or so in my setup now...) and Motu LP32, which doesn't seem to be reliable (viewtopic.php?f=6&t=16993 , i'm only interested in ADAT I/O, not AVB). So my questions are:
Are there newer experiences with the mentioned interfaces, which shows them working?
Are there interfaces that i didn't find on my search?
People are telling nice things about Minidsps USBStreamer. Has anyone tried to combine two or better three of them (https://alsa.opensrc.org/TwoCardsAsOne) into one interface? Are there general experiences with composed interfaces here? Are there reasons against doing this?
