Danish newbie

Post by pkslot »

Hi all.

I thought i'd make my self visible here, with an "i'm new" post. So here goes.

I've been playing guitar for about 17 years now, but on and off for a couple of years due to having kids (yes, it takes a lot of time). I've fiddled a little with the piano too, but not so much that it makes me able to play very decent.

Linux has been my operating system for about 6 years. Like most people, i've tested quite a few distributions before settling with what i call my main OS. I use Ubuntu for recording and audio editing, and probably everything else i need to do on a computer.

In my spare time, i have fun recording audio, mostly outdoor fieldrecordings and stuff like that. If somebody wants to listen, you will find a quite a few recordings from me on freesound.org under the name "kyster".

Well, now you know a little about me :)

Thanks :)

I'm happy to be here. And if i may add, most of my experience with linux and audio is about recordings of nature and various environments, and not as much music as it ought to be. I'm a little green on music recording and editing
