After having received a lot of useful information from this forum (thank you all for maintaining and dropping knowledge) over the years, i felt it's time to get an account.
...since about 2005, i'm on Slackware on Desktop and in my Studio, i'm now slowly switching to Manjaro (for about 2 years now). I run a Dell Optiplex with an RME HDSP 9652 (or so, it got 3xADAT I/O, PCI) as main machine with Ardour and all the rest (under Slackware), connected to a Tascam DM4800. There's also a Laptop (some Dell with Manjaro) with a Scarlett 2i2 2nd gen and a Clarett 8Pre USB for small mobile jobs, which also runs in my studio as a 10ch insert for the Tascam.
