At first it sounded like a car commercial and then it got better then it got even better and then it ended. It was pretty much one of the best songs I've ever heard.
@SR, thanks, ok, I'm on the right track. The Vocoder part was just a test, I don't think I will use it in the final edit.
@MattKingUSA, your description is a bit cryptic, to me it seems like you went through a really hefty minute and that you were glad it was over

No, it was pleasant, it was like a ford commercial or Gieco or something and then it went into like this The Boy Least Likely To type sound. It was fantastic.
Thanks! This is what I've used:
Beats: Hydrogen with 909 kick and maracas, GSCW2 rim, kick and hihats
Synth: PHASEX
Sampler: Qsynth with Melloflute SoundFont
Vocals: me + VocProc + Yoshimi (Trash Guitar 1 preset)
Recordings/MIDI: Qtractor
But it's far from being finished. My girlfriend needs to sing some parts, the song doesn't have a chorus yet and I want to add some eBow parts. And a bassline. But I don't have a bass (yet). I'm opting for either a Squier Classic Vibe or an OLP Stingray.
Yeah ! I like this very much! Yeah yeah! Also I agree that the flute needs something. Effects or randomness. Maybe delay? Also the hihat or whatever maracass needs something. I like this very very much. I hope u could do vocals for my songs if I ever finish something
I like this snippet. Voice with music just fits here imo. The only thing, the cymbals... I don't like the sound very much (is it to short, bad quality?), it started to getting a little annoying when the song continues. I would like to hear it without that sound...
But nice one!
Hi studio32, those are not cymbals but an open hi-hat that closes again. I completely agree that I have to do something about that. But programming rock/pop drums is not my specialty, I think it's harder than programming dance/house/electro stuff. But I ordered a Korg nanoPAD, maybe that helps.
