Hello!

Is it possible to change the function of a MIDI channel from input to output using software, lets say Jack?
I was wondering if I can turn this Midiface 2x2 into 4 output MIDI channels.

Short answer: no.

Long answer: The hardware is not the same and that's nothing a software can change.

Maybe a midi splitter can help if you need 4 outputs?
