Hey hey, it's not exactly music:

You may have heard of this campagne: Youtube algorithms mark a lot of material as "copyright protected", this has in the past included filter sweeps, as far as I understand the history. So last year there was campagne to protest against it and express dissatisfaction.
There are many things that have a filter, both in hard and software. Perhaps, if someone else made a sweep, we could collect it here? To prevent heated debates at this point: I am sure this might be discussed and weighed, but I suspect there are better subforums here to do so. I was just hoping to collect magic sweeps in the support of the free spirit.
Best wishes and enjoy, Jeanette

This was quite fun to listen to -- I must use my Neutron more!

That last one was awesome!

What is the post-processing? Very spacious!

Also, an interesting campaign. I regularly get copyright claims to my music on YouTube from major media corporations, that I have to spend time combating

Hi @oscillator , thanks! The post processing was a touch of Fons' G2verb followed by the TAP chorus, both these had a blend of dry and wet signal. That was followed by the L/C/R delay from the SWH plugins and finally a highpass filter. I did start with just the delay, but that didn't do much, so I added the chorus in front of that, which already widened and changed the sound, but there was still not enough depth for my liking. :)
Last year I did my sweep raw, which was fun too, but I thought a few sprinkles on top wouldn't hurt. :)

Thanks for the info @jeanette_c! I have long had the idea that filter sweeps are the main area where synthesizers really excels. I should use them more, whether with hard- och softsynths. Add resonance to that and I could enjoy those good sweeps for hours! :D

Is TAP Chorus your favorite, I find it hard to get what I want out of choruses without losing the body of the sound.

Yes, TAP chorus has become my favourite, for now. :) Even though it has a blend between dry and wet signal, I always use it in parallel to the origiinal signal. Original that is with EQ, light distortion/tape emulation and compression. In parallel, I can use high- and/or lowcut, extra compression or even EQ'ing on difficult signals and then use track volume to achieve the right blend between raw and chorused signal. I also find it a great addition to a reverb send to achieve more width and lusher, if more arteficial, reverbs. This does not apply to all reverbs. But something like the CAPS plate or g2verb work very well with it.
I also think that the Calf chorus is great, alas it is difficult to control with Nama/Ecasound. Somehow parameters reset themselves to default values. When it is set up to satisfaction it sounds very nice though and the parameter issue shouldn't be an issue in MuSE and other DAWs.

Oh @jeanette_c, you are miles ahead of me! :D You should make a production manual for free software music production! Really. Write it all down. Please! :)
