a little video study

Greetings,

I'm writing articles about video editors for Linux, so naturally I've made some demos. The first one is on-line here:

It's a simple slideshow (30 MB) made with PhotoFilmStrip, Kdenlive, and Csound/AVSynthesis. Comments welcome, but please bear in mind that this is a novice's early attempt at movie-making.

Nice work, Dave. My only criticism is that it's far too short - I wanted to hear the whole track.

Ah, yes. Good stuff. I listened to this already ( you posted it to LAU ) and I forgot that I had it.
It fits well with the star-scape imagery.
It would be good to see a full length vid for this track. I've been meaning to have a go at this kind of thing but haven't been able to find the time so far.

The track's very quiet though. According to Audacity I could amplify it by 12.5 db without clipping.
You could play safe and make that 11.5 db ....
Not a real problem, but I always forget to turn the volume knob down again and the next tune I play does permanent damage to my hair line.
