Hi, I have a bit of a weird problem. I can't get Guitarix to open. I seem to have everything else setup correctly. When I plug the guitar into the audio interface and start Jack through Cadence, I can hear the guitar by pressing in direct monitor. But Guitarix won't start when I click on the icon, and when I try to open it from the command line, I get

guitarix: Symbol `_ZTIN3Gxw9FastMeterE' has different size in shared object, consider re-linking
guitarix: symbol lookup error: guitarix: undefined symbol: _ZN3Gxw16ControlParameter12cp_configureEN4Glib7ustringES2_ddd

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program, just using apt at the moment. Do I need to build the program myself, or relink whatever this symbol is?

Oh and my version is 0.39

This looks like a mismatch between guitarix version and libgxw(mm) version.
Which distribution do you use?

I'm using Ubuntu. I just got it to work by doing the build myself actually, using the sourceforge files. So there must be an issue with the version in the Ubuntu repository. It's all working fine now.
