Hi all,
Music is magic! I'm all perked up.
Feeling a little blue this afternoon, I took to an improvisation and came up with this piece...
It's a continuation of the adventures of those two youths that live in that enchanted forrest: the Thunder and the Fairy.
I think...something beautifull is blooming...
They danced...

Thanks. I really just needed to make some music to get over my down mood. So, this is what music does.

I was joking obviously.
It's incredible what can happen when we sublimate our feelings in some "creation" in the, so called, physical world.
Music is one of the best "tools" we have, keep up and don't be afraid to share.

Nice to see your pleased reactions as things go right in making the song. Cool studio setup to work/play in!
Could that become the intro to a longer piece?

This is a setup that suits me because I can fit it in the allotted space, I love working with it, nice 'n compact.
There is indeed a "series" (if you will) telling the story of the love affair between two impossible entities: a Thunder and a Fairy.
In a first piece, they already met, clashed (as some love affairs begin) and eventually...danced. In this new piece, they deliberately dance.
The aim is to have several pieces that form a story around these two, indeed...

I find that spontaneity is often lacking in my music. I typically spend weeks or even months on a single recording, and by then it is quite processed and rather separated in time from the initial inspiration. There are tradeoffs, obviously, but I do enjoy an occasional jam session. And music is truly among the most potent of drugs.
