It all sounds pretty good to me. I currently use Debian stable as well - earlier when I was young, in my storm and stress period, Debian sid and then Gentoo - because it just runs and with the backports/repositories it is also quite up to date in the audio area.
But the best of all I find you/us, it's so nice to experience something like $this in life. THX
