Question Regarding Hooking Up Multiple Virtual Machines To Each Other

Hey there,
Was wondering, is it possible to hook up audio between KVM Virtual Machines to one another so that they can be sequenced in time?
Wanted to explore this kind of craziness, but didn't know how to start.
I wanted to maybe get a VM of some old Amiga software running old school trackers to somehow be in sync with a Macintosh VM, DOS VM, etc.
Just old school fun.
Is this possible, and has anyone done this?
