I just installed UbuntuStudio 21.04, I run a MOTU 828 MKII FW audio rack and have 2 dedicated MIDI interfaces. In Studio Controls, I activated "Bridge Alsa to Jack MIDI" option but I can't see my MIDI devices in Carla. I ca see them only if I run in a terminal. I, as engine for Carla, I choose nothing appears on the patchbay. I can see my audio devices only if I use as engine in Carla.

UbuntuStudio forces you to use Ubuntustudio-Controls to do that. For some odd reason they have intentionally made the KXstudio apps very difficult to use in their distro. SMH.
