Hello all, Newbie here. I am running Ubuntu Studio and trying to connect Guitarix with Reaper, through Jack on Cadence but I just cant find the best way of doing it. My goal is to get Guitarix to work individually on each track in Reaper without printing the effect from Guitarix so I can double up on rhythm guitars. I was wondering if someone could upload some screenshots from Cadence ( or something similar ) or information on the subject as there doesn't seem to be any definitive guide out there. Thanks

The problem with doing it that way will be that every time you load the reaper project, you will have to manually load and wire back into guitarix, unless you know how to manually start the reaper project with a session manager like agordejo (which allows you to start multiple programs all linked together).

However, you can add guitarix modules as lv2 plugins in reaper, they have a gx prefix in the plugin list. This will be easier overall.
