RIP Franco Gatti from Ricchi e Poveri. I know their music is quite popular in Eastern Bloc countries, too.

RIP Jerry Lee Lewis
https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-10-29/ ... /101593210

He was one of the first performers inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame in 1986 and was so influential that when John Lennon met him backstage at a show in Los Angeles, the Beatle dropped to his knees and kissed Lewis' feet.

Terry Hall, frontman for British ska icons The Specials, dies at 63
https://www.abc.net.au/doublej/music-re ... /101792522

Interesting fact from that article I didn't know previously:

When The Specials were on tour with The Go-Go's in 1980, Hall and Go-Go's guitarist Jane Wiedlin had "a kind of romance". When Wiedlin returned to the US, Hall sent her the lyrics to 'Our Lips Are Sealed'.
"It was kind of about our relationship, because he had a girlfriend at home and all this other stuff," Wiedlin told the website Songfacts.

Now we've lost the legendary Jeff Beck. - https://www.abc.net.au/news/2023-01-12/ ... /101847374
One of the best guitarists ever. We'll miss you.

I was privileged to see him at the Palais in Melbourne in 2009, an immaculate concert high on my toplist. Band was Tal Wilkenfeld, Vinnie Colaiuta, and David Sanchez.
Here's an excellent video of one of his signature tunes - Jeff Beck - Pork Pie (From "Performing This Week Live at Ronnie Scotts")
