Could we make an individual post for every meeting with the recap and eventual recordings or contents?

Makes sense, announcement of new meet-ups could be posted here then and subscribers could be notified. Also makes recap and shared notes less messy and more searchable.

And if invite is outside regular time slots I could just put it in the post title, eg.

I'm not in a LUG or in contact with any other Linux users on a daily or weekly basis. Some of the podcasts I enjoy listening to are basically guys like us talking to each other about the tools they use and why and how and sharing tips and ideas and opinions and so on. Like @milo and his musical cousin did in theirs.

A bullet point agenda is sufficient to structure the conversation and keep track of what's been talked about. Editing is bloat, it's implied that listeners can pick the segment they are interested in and skip the rest.

Another motivation for me is to help the community and newcomers getting into and on with Linux for audio. The forums I visit on a daily basis is packed with extremely experienced users and instant troubleshooting. Much of that knowledge and activity doesn't find its way into structured, version revised wiki pages or manuals and easily slips under the radar. Even when it doesn't the recap format by voice and screen share is a nice supplement to yet another forum thread.

Personally, I'd prefer to stick to things as they are for the moment. I think recording things might make it a bit less spontaneous, and some people who might otherwise join in might decide not to if they know they are being recorded.

But the bullet points are great! (and thank you @Fmaj7add9 for your time with that! )

slightly off-topic...:

A major 1st world problem I'm having is streaming the output from superior Nokia phone camera hardware to a video input in the free and open sourced world. Microsoft managed to burn the Nokia house completely down during Emperor Balmers late reign so there aren't really any apps to choose from or native USB transfer methods. And none of the mobile browsers available work with Jitsi.
Trying out Steam Link later without much hope (in-house gaming something, a VNC like protocol for connecting devices inside LAN). The prior Nokia flagship had HDMI output which would require a USB HDMI capture card in the Linux PC.

gPhoto2 is a free, redistributable, ready to use set of digital camera software applications for Unix-like systems, written by a whole team of dedicated volunteers around the world. It supports more than 2700 cameras and media players

gPhoto2 runs on a large range of UNIX-like operating system, including Linux, FreeBSD, NetBSD, MacOS X, etc. gPhoto is provided by major Linux distributions like Debian GNU/Linux, Ubuntu, Gentoo, Fedora, openSUSE, Mandriva, etc.

So if you find a functioning, used camera in your drawer or in the 2nd hand store look up the model in gphoto's list, if compatible you have a nice webcam for chats and streams and such.

You're correct. The UK lost an hour at the weekend. It's been borrowed, and is returned in autumn when the clocks change again.

I'm fine with leaving the meeting as 6pm GMT, which would be be 7pm in the UK. That could mean it's not too early for those further west?
