Does your music makes you happy outside of a production context ?

Does your music makes you happy outside of a production context ? By that I mean when heard instead of anything else, eg. instead of the radio while doing kitchen work, instead of regular music in your car, etc, etc. As for me, it makes me happy to hear the music I did. Not proud-happy, just plain happy, brings a nice feeling.

I love listening to my music as much as listening to some other of my favorite music.
No matter, if listening to the newest compositions or to some done many years ago.
To me, my music is the best music at this location in the universe.

Yes it does, although when listening to my own music, I often wonder if I should spend more time on some of the tracks.

This has allot to do, with me much better understanding some calf plugins, LMMS and song structure.
And maybe the area were I improved most, my ears. When I released my first track, people asked if I was tone deaf.

I remember always having allot of issues to make transitions.
Slowly I am getting there.

This keeps me going, me noticing I am still improving.

Yes. Each release encapsulates a story from my life that:
  • Help me think or reflect
  • Remind me of specific experiences and life lessons
  • Motivate me
Each release reminds me what I can accomplish if I stay focused on my goals.

Totally agree! Every song and every recording is a personal time capsule. Some contain things that are not so valuable, but others are priceless.

Mostly yes, sometimes 'hmmm'.

Yes! In fact, it usually gives me a warm-fuzzy feeling inside that I don't get anywhere else. Even though other music can be nice and inspiring, and good to dedicate some time to (and there's SO much of it now on the Internet!), my music is made primarily for my own enjoyment. (If others enjoy it too, all the better!)
And it's really nice to read here that there are others who enjoy their music, too!
