HI, as you know singing is like a language, a body language.

what can you do if you don’t have a good voice but want to sing?
How can you improve your singing voice?
What are the best singing tips out there?
What should you focus on when you practice singing?

Who do you think of when you say "a good voice" ? Many of my favorite singers don't have "pretty" voices but that doesn't always matter the most when it comes to singing.
How can you improve your singing voice?
Singing lessons.
Ear-training.
Practicing one song until you're sure of your intonation.
Sing with other singers who can help you improve.
Work on breathing exercises.
What are the best singing tips out there?
Keep your chin relaxed.
Open your mouth when you sing, i.e. don't mumble.
Sing from the soles of your feet.
Breath big.
Learn to project (hint: it's not the same as singing louder).
What should you focus on when you practice singing?
Diction (enunciation and pronunciation) and intelligibility.
Understanding the text.
Intonation.
Rhythm and timing.

I hope that helps a little.

Best regards,

dp

Warn your neighbors.

Perform only for deaf audiences.
What are the best singing tips out there?
If you're performing at a wedding ceremony, when the father escorts the bride down the aisle, do not play "Send in the Clowns".
What should you focus on when you practice singing?
Any large sharp objects thrown at you.

Hi G,

In a word, Rap, man. Some are gifted with good pipes, some aren't. Not a stopper if you're feeling the music.

Watch the musical Music Man... Very first scene on the train: Prof Harold Hill and others rap before there was rap.
