Senri

Post by TAERSH »

Hi.

This is an instrumental song in different odd-rhythms. I was impressed by a young female drummer and to watch her the first time it had inspired me that much to write this song. So, I named it after her first name, Senri. Her full name is: Senri Kawaguchi.

Guess, what is its rhythms...

Cool rhythms. Not sure I can follow it, though.

I like the slow pitch bending chords. Sounds like alien music, like some of your other tracks.

I certainly sounds nice. Although it also sounds like a demonstration I find. Which is probably the purpose of the piece to start with. But it does sound very good.

Quite nice! I don't know the drummer you mentioned, but sound-wise the track reminds me of some of Derek Sherinian's works, like "Space Martini": the same space-prog kind of vibe.

Definitely you should have a look at her. There's much to find on YouTube.
I would suggest to search for Senri Kawaguchi & Triangle.
The Bass-Player, Armand Sabal-Lecco is also great, not to speak about the Keyboarder Philippe Saisse.

Here's a three Songs live performance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MvEBp2qGHYU
I like especially the 1st and 3rd song! 8)
Cool stuff!
