Hey hey,
it's been a while of neglect. Here's one song "Cloud castles":

The inspiration is artists like Dimension, Sub Focus or Wilkinson, so the quite melodic, British Drum&Bass scene. As you can see, I fell quite short, achieving that goal. Someone commented that it sounds like a game soundtrack.
Drums and FX have been created in Csound, some based on samples. There are a few tracks of Yoshimi, LinuxSampler for the strings, bells and real brass. Basses, synthbrass and one pad layer come from external hardware.

Very nice track, love the mix between melody, symphony and DnB!

Nice, interesting piece. I could hear this as a game soundtrack. I like the symphonic sounds over a danceable beat. I'm not familiar with the scene you were aiming for, but I like where you landed with this.

Re: Cloud castles (melodic electro)
Thank you both for the kind words. It's nice to hear that it works, even though it failed the ultimate intention.

Not a style of music I would be drawn to normally (unless posted on this forum!) but I found it very exuberant
Very well done. I enjoyed it.
