This is the 'deer pantry' feeding troughs live stream in Brownsville Maine USA, with close-up audio/video,
and the sound of munching grain, in the nature ambience, is a nice backdrop when browsing the web.
The deer are only fed during the cold months, just started yesterday this year, so it takes a while for the herds to show up.

@Tippe big list! I have only heard of 3 of them - Nils Frahm (long-time fan), Khruangbin, and Hania Rani who I saw in concert last year and love her music. I even bought several albums on Bandcamp of all of them.

Not sure why you would use cassettes to record Youtube music. You can save the audio to your computer with yt-dlp.

Quality is usually quite good since they switched to Opus as the default codec. Varies depending on the source of course.

I still love to play audio cassettes and also long play records.

Of course, before recording to audio cassette, I extract the audio track from the video.
After that I'm using Audacity to check and edit the track.

This is needed, as lots of these YouTube videos/audio tracks do have some short Dropouts of around 0.0010 seconds.
If there's not too many of them, I remove them via Audacity.
If everything is fine after listening the first time completely,
I do convert them to .mp3 and collect them on the computer.

For recording I use the edited track by playing it in Audacity.

Though, to switch on the amplifier, tape deck and to insert a cassette goes much faster than booting the computer to listen to music. And it is less power consuming from my experience, as I need the amplifier also to listen to music via computer.

I have download helper installed into my Firefox browser.
This downloads to .mp4 usually, which returns .m4a audio tracks after extracting.
Maybe that's the cause of the dropouts?

Converting lossy formats to another lossy format is doubly degrading the audio. Youtube native format is Opus so I always save in Opus and computers play Opus very well; it's a much better format than mp3 which I generally avoid.

I always download FLAC format from Bandcamp.
Most artists offer a choice although vinyl is often limited release.

In my operating system .opus files are played only by VLC player.
If alsaplayer could play them, I would probably let them as .opus.
But, I need sometime to edit them because of the dropouts.

However, .mp3 VBR at 256is fine for me and my portable player which
doesn't have much space to store music on it.

I keep seeing the name 'John Dowlands' in music forums, so had to investigate. Here is a master Lute musician
playing a collection of Downland's songs, the music starts at 13:35 after an informative intro. Around 55 minutes
of music from ages past. looks like it was played in one session.
