New (again) - from Australia

Hi everyone, I moved to a fully FOSS workflow in 2018 but my computer mobo died just a few months later. I tried creating on the laptop, but I can't fit enough onto one screen to work efficiently. Long story short, I finally built a new rig last June and it's now doing everything I want it to - I think Triceratops is the only thing I couldn't replicate from the old PC as it's no longer in the KX Studio repos (afaik).

Recently found unfa's youtube channel - it's bloody excellent but will take a while to fully consume and digest. It's great that anything I could possibly want to do with music, I can do on Linux. All my hardware just works out of the box (or out of the dusty corner in my case hah).

My hardware: Akai MPK mini, Korg nanoKontrol2, Scarlett 2i2, Audio-Technica AT2020, Mexican Strat with a Seymour Duncan stacked humbucker.

Looking forward to hearing your stuff and getting some tips. Cheers.

Welcome to the forum! We're glad you're here.

I have a similar setup, although I don't use any hardware synths.

Wise words: if everyone thought it this way, there would be fewer people making excuses to justify their use of popular proprietary programs.

Welcome :D
