My newest Amplifier simulation is available on github.
This time a High Gain Amplifier, I didn't try to simulate any of the existing Amplifier, but stick the simulation together to just suit my needs of sound.
Simulation is generated with dkbuilder, and I've added the generated faust code to the repository.
Can't wait to try it out, thanks! Are you going going to make releases soon? For us packagers it's better, especially if the release already contains the downloaded submodules (so that the original tarball can be built without the internet)

Am I missing something buddy? I've installed the FatFrog but it's very clean sounding. Not getting any gain/distortion at all. Nice clean sound by the way!
What? Clean sound? That didn't sound like the FatFrog.
Switch on the bright switch. If that isn't enough, use the LittleFly to feed the Frog. https://github.com/brummer10/LittleFly.lv2

yep had the bright on too. tried with different IRs and just a great clean tone. Will try with the LittleFly
Strange, here is a short example how it works for me. First, plain guitar, then switch on then FatFrog, then switch on the LittleFly. https://vocaroo.com/gQ9pVKdFRxs
I have to really crank up the master and the volume to get it to distort. Sounds like a late 60s Plexi. Really nice sound.
I thought when you said high gain it would be closer to the gain of these new metal amps like the 5150.

Really. The example above was made with default settings.
yep that's the sound I'm getting which is more classic rock than high gain of the modern amps. this ampsim is using guitarix according to the dev. I was chatting with him by email. https://youtu.be/xwNlf5_BT5U?t=55
That's the high gain I thought you meant.
Don't get me wrong, this is a great sounding piece of software and I will use. I always use the GX plugins to enhance certain guitar tracks that's missing that certain something.
I've even re-amped with Guitarix.

I love that sound! I've been super happy with good ol' Guitarix, but I think I will grab me some of this Swamp Thing and have a go.

Thanks, Tramp! You make the best guitar tools!
Yep you can play some sweet ass dirty blues with it. Also re-amping some solos with it adds some bite and warmth. Very usable!!
I know that the metal and modern guitarist want that tight overdriven tone like the newer amps like the one I posted that uses Guitarix as it's heart and soul.
I couldn't get it to install, unfortunately because of libxputty. I tried to install libxputty with make and make install but it states: nothing to be done for "install". So I keep not being able to make and install the new plugins.
