Guide to Italian progressive rock

Selected albums. Many of my favs are not in there. And, as often found in prog rock, only older bands are mentioned. Il Castello di Atlante and Sithonia are not in there for instance. Nevertheless good comments and nice overview of those times.

It has some 'orchestral' intentions although not sure if it wouldn't be more metal than anything else. There's some metal that's in the same vein.

Full 2-hour Deus ex Machina concert in Paris, France. In those times a lot of the singing was in Latin. Claudio Trotta is an incredible drummer, for one.

Contaminazione by Rovescio della Medaglia is indeed a masterpiece, and one of my favourite albums of that era.
