Thanks. Before reading that reference I thought she was from Ukraine from the stories I read of fire brigades arriving at concert venues a day before concerts to tag the building as 'unsafe', an action that was done in relation with Ukraine. The wikipedia page mentions the Ukraine flag that was unfolded in two very different occasions.

I just started getting in to Daniel Johnston and I can honestly say I'm completely captivated. I started off with one of his early albums (
https://youtu.be/AW2cmIIomac); lots of music critics have said that the pure childlike innocence in his lyrics is unparalleled despite all of his inner demons.
I had no idea so many legendary mainstream musicians (Kurt Cobain, Beck, lots more...) count him as a huge influence. His stuff is so good, so haunting...I highly recommend checking him out.
