Hello, my name is Ika. I live in Poland, I'm a professional Linux sysadmin and an amateur musician. I'm very glad to have found this forum. Making music on Linux used to feel to me a little like being on some sort of desert island and having to figure out everything by myself. I finally feel at home with my tribe and I can't wait to ask you all sorts of questions. I hope to learn a lot and also save myself a lot of time and headache sweeping the web for scarce tutorials and plugins.

Not very smooth, to be honest. It has some issues with crackling audio and all the proprietary magic (like the "air" function) just don't work as of now. However, I found a kernel patch on this very board and applying it fixed the crackling completely, but I'll have to wait for a more proper driver to take full advantage of it.

A Telecaster guy! I love my Tele, which I've played for 20 years. I recently got a new guitar, though, so the Tele isn't getting as much use (any may be getting a bit jealous). There's a couple other Telecaster players on this forum.

Hey Ika 
I'm another (diehard) Tele player and also have the CV50 butterscotch, but my main is my 72 Tele Custom RI. I ousted the neck faux-widerange humbucker in it and dropped in a P90. I have a modded LPJ type guitar that I also dig, but I don't play it as much. It's got some neck dive and I'm too used to Fender scale lengths and Tele twang, I guess.
My amps are a Classic 30 that is converted to just a head, an Orange CR120, and a little Orange Micro Dark. I mostly play through the CR120 though into two 1x12s (an Orange cab with a V30, and a generic cab with a WGS ET65, which is their version of a Creamback).
