Squeezebox made of an old Router and OpenWRT

Post by bluebell »

I have an old TP-Link 3600 Router and a Behringer UCA 202 USB interface.

With OpenWRT and squeezelite that makes a decent Squeezebox player if you have a Logitec Media Server infrastructure.

I tested it with a Scarlett 2i2 first Gen, too, and wasn't satisfied. I couldn't find any parms that provide reliable, crackle-free playback. Maybe the Scarlett's power consumption was a bit high.
