(Grayson sees a message...)

"You need to enable JavaScript to run this app."

I'm using NoScript in Firefox, so I whitelisted the domain... Fine.

Seriously, websites should be able to be viewed without JavaScript. That goes to show web developers do not care about progressive enhancement. I don't mean to go off-topic, though.

Music Interest: New Age w/ a mix of modern smooth jazz, light techno/trance & downtempo -- something Epcot Future World/Tomorrowland-flavored.

Of course a bunch of the free plugins have already been available for Linux for a long time (at Disthro's site). But it's cool that the rest are getting Linux ports too, now.

It's always very good news to see more manufacturers that provide solid native Linux ports!
Unfortunately the first run creates a "ToguAudioLine" directory in your /home/<user> :D instead of a wonderful, magnificent, hidden /home/<user>/.ToguAudioLine

Oh for [bleep]'s sake... I was just recently complaining about that exact same issue in a thread about Audio Damage plugins... I really wish people porting software would stop doing that. Creating non-hidden directories without user consent is not OK!

I tried TAL Sampler with a selfmade .sfz, my jack runs at 48 kHz. However, the tuning is off in TAL Sampler. Its samplerate is at 44100 Hz and for resampling, it only offers values <= 44100 Hz. The .sfz was made with polyphone and sounds just fine with sfizz.

Does that mean I have to run my jack at 44.1 kHz for this plugin to sound proberly? I really like this plugin but I need it to support 48 kHz somehow. Maybe I have missed something while RTFM.... :?:

Update: I tried loading in the samples one by one and create a new midi map and tune the samples by hand. This way it works. So the problem was with my soundfont that I generated with Polyphone and it is not compatible with TAL sampler. I also tested the factory presets, and everything was fine. With VSCO samples, the tuning was also correct, however one octave higher (this might be normal to VSCO, i don't know...)
For me, polyphone is easy to use because it automatically detects the tuning and key of the sample. With TAL sampler, I used a tuner and did it by hand.

Big updates on their site. VST3 support and most of (if not all) free plugins are ported/updated for Linux, such a NoiseMaker and Vocoder.

That's so cool :) I was just talking about TAL plugins in another thread yesterday so this was a nice surprise.

And no longer labelled as experimental, so now fully supported it seems.

Anyone else have issues with the VST2 versions of the latest builds? VST3 seemed to work, but I Reaper didn't seem to want to detect the VST2 versions.
