Recently there are several threads about notation editors in this forum.
A rather unknown notation editor is "nted" which in my opinion is very very good!
I use it to notate my ideas and print the score for fellow musicians, it includes a mixer, step recording, exporting to midi, ...
The website itself is gone, but the software is included in many distributions, info can be obtained from a html-helpfile, the sourcecode is also still available.
