It doesn't pay to rush things

I started this in 2011, and finally got it to a state I'm reasonably happy with.
Apologies for the quality of the vocal recording. At the time I only had a very cheap microphone. I did consider re-recording it, then remembered the hours it took to get the phrasing and timing right.
Also, I had a problem with the guitar strums at the end. When playing it I could never get the timing right, so I tried synthesising it. That came out too 'mechanical'.
In a moment of, I don't know, madness? inspiration? I tried putting both together. That seemed to work

This is quite likable. I think the mic you used adds a lot of character and contrasts nicely with the synths.

Oddly enough I found it rather reminiscent of this ancient and obscure Wings track (in a good way).
