I really like your style. Do I hear an influence from The Cure in your guitar phrasing and layering?
I have been thinking of buying an Ibanez hollowbody. You're getting some nice tones out of yours. Which one do you have? I have been looking at the AM53. Do you like it?
Very very sorry for the late reply.
I love The Cure and other new wave bands too. Very much.
But I didn't intentionally made this sound like that...
I have the AGS 83 B type guitar, sounds very versatile... although I really miss a tremolo bar on it.
And I always wanted to play some guitar with active pickups now, for more loaded metal with long sustain on the notes. Can't really do that with passive pickups.
You probably already bought a new guitar? Which one? And do you like it?

Yeah, I bought an AM53, the entry level model, and I do really like it. I've been wanting an archtop electric guitar ever since I was a teenager admiring Robert Smith's bright red Gibson Chet Atkins model. Here is me playing it on the day I bought it:

I've never been a metal guy, so I don't have much need for active pickups. Just big, gorgeous tone.

Yes, sounds pretty good! It's a beauty!
I always wondered to play a full hollow one too.... but with a semi-hollow you can play harder rock without problems of feedback.
