Hi,

Congrats on your EP release!

Some really great soundscapes and moods in the songs, I also like the rhythm tracks and how upfront the drums/percussion are in some of the mixes. Great job!

Like it overall. The second (much too short) track reminds me of Nine Inch Nails, the synths of track 5 on Kraftwerks Modell. My overall impression is that the mix and the sounds can be improved, also the volume can be increased in all songs without overdoing compression. The voice in the first track could also be better integrated into the mix imo.

And I like the Black Lodge floor too

Thank you for your attention, your opinion, and your constructive critique.
The truth is that those particularly noted points are intensional.

I want to keep the dynamic expressed clearly. Its a classic music technique, that are overall lacking in modern music. Because of the loudness wars, and compression becoming mandatory by standard IMHO

Guilty. It is again purely intensional, but for other personal reasons. Its just that i love the timbre in the voice of my vocalist. The inspiration for this song is her real live voice. When i tried to apply reverberation and compression to the vocal channel, her voice became different. And i did not liked that fact. Nevertheless there is a slight use of both effects, to the point where she sounded right to me.

Best regards Lilith

Totally agree. Loudness war is awful. There are songs where the meter is at 0 dB and almost constant. I also try to avoid this.
