What's this thing about Dark Zebra being released ? I'm using Dark Zebra for years. It currently has no 'new' tag to it at u-he's web site.

Hardly "been released" wouldn't it ?

Dark Zebra is a soft synth. That u-he calls it a "soundset" is quite misplaced. For years the only Zebra I launch is the Dark Zebra soft synth. The Dark Zebra soft synth comes with its own set of patches although it is a full-fledged soft synth. To run Dark Zebra one must first buy the regular Zebra though.

Shown here with a patch from the VSP "Ambient Zebra" sound set.

This is what the 1-10-19 email from U-he states,

"The Dark Zebra / ZebraHZ 2.8 goes Linux

Previously only available on request, the Linux installer for The Dark Zebra / ZebraHZ is now part of the official download. The Linux version of ZebraHZ was also updated to version 2.8!"

After all the misc forum whining about what defines officialness, this is good news.

Cheers

OK. I did ask for it the first time around, about 3 years ago. I mean, for the Linux version. I think that was the last synth I bought from u-he. After that there was one synth left that I didn't buy, so they gave it to me: Filterscape.

Cheers.
