You certainly know about this... Zebra2 includes the totally free Zebralette synth which is a scaled down version of Zebra. Zebralette can produce a good array of sounds and there are some free 3rd party sound sets for it to start.
Cheers.

There's an update of HIVE, which sounds interesting.

119€ until 20th January... I think I will go for that one.

What's nice with this is that the Linux version is as prompt as it can be, and posted officially on the web site. I got it and will install it a bit later on. Free update with a major new feature: wave tables !

I'm curious how you like it. There's a linux update the next days again. I was just surfing the web for free wavetables but didn't find anything. So I wonder how to get own wavetables into HIVE.

I installed it (Linux version), sounds pretty good. As for wave tables I did not get into that yet, just exploring presets. There's a u-he script that does something about that maybe and there's also the package: 'Hive 1.2 Wavetables Starter Pack.zip', although I haven't look at that yet.

To use the 400+ new wavetable sounds in Hive,
click the presets button, located on
the top row, right of center, dark gray,
and on the presets page, click TAGS.
Three areas appear on the left, each has a group
of rectangular buttons,
Categories, Features, and Character.
In the Features area, the last button is 'Wavetable'.
Click that, and the wavetable sounds appear in the preset browser.
Hundreds of 'em...inauspicious, but worth a few clicks.

Yes, these are the presets featuring a wavetable. Or two.
What's very interesting is to load wavetables amongst the ones that are offered by choosing WT1 (or WT2) and clicking to change the wavetable. Very interesting results can happen, and there's a certain choice of wavetables.
it's also possible with a loaded wavetable to modulate the Position parameter (for one) in Hive itself or in Bitwig to create an interesting sweeping effect.
