Post by studio32 »

Hi,

I always used the vkeybd, but now I installed jack-keyboard.

To make this work I have to use a2jmidid 'they' say..

But I don't get the connections right....

With qsynth, a2jmidid and the keyboard... someone who can help me out?

going on the pic you've included, jack keyboard (red) > Fluid Synth (7201) : Synth input port (7201:0) (red).

A2jmidid offers a jack 'equivalent' port (red) for each alsa port. (green)

From jack 0.109.2 onwards the a2jmidid code is included by default, so you shouldn't have to use a2midid at all.

Alex.
