buy StixCM for $5, save 50% on full version 'til 8-28-18 (but full version uses ilok or usb e-licenser)

edit: stix CM runs with just serial registration, but
the full version requires the software ilok manager app, an ilok device,
or a usb-e-licenser ...so for now, not linux-friendly,
unless you typically use both win/lin setups to make music.
end edit.
Stix CM, a drum machine plugin from xils labs, is a $5 purchase
as part of Computer Music Magazine issue #244
It has a 50% discount code towards the full version until
August 28th. The full version has a midi-out option,
so it may be fun and useful in a linux setup,
beyond it's own nice capabilities.
I installed and registered
the CM version in a wine 2.18, without any over-rides,
and it's working well in Reaper, loading patterns and kits, using it's
randomizer, and for filling in a pattern grid ala Hydrogen.
The digital mag can be bought at http://www.zinio.com
and the digital content is
unlocked at http://www.filesilo.co.uk
so two more accounts to create, but well worth it for the
2 gig of older plugins that are part of all unlocked
magazine purchases, lite versions of Dune, Bazille, Zebra,
a Camel Audio player, some nice Rob Papen and xils plugins,
among many other.
Cheers
