Hi,

I have ESI 1010e interface. Is possible to run this interface just as sound card (stereo for YT or music player etc.) on ubuntu?

Code: Select all

lspci -vv
shows:

Code: Select all

04:00.0 Multimedia audio controller: Device 19fe:7000 (rev 03)
	Subsystem: Device 0e51:0011
Control: I/O- Mem+ BusMaster+ SpecCycle- MemWINV- VGASnoop- ParErr- Stepping- SERR- FastB2B- DisINTx-
	Status: Cap+ 66MHz- UDF- FastB2B- ParErr- DEVSEL=medium >TAbort- <TAbort- <MAbort- >SERR- <PERR- INTx-
	Latency: 0 (40000ns max)
Interrupt: pin A routed to IRQ 11
	Region 0: Memory at e1a10000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16K]
	Capabilities: <access denied>
Interface has the same chipset (ESI ES7010L) as MAYA44 XTe which is unsupported as mentioned on ALSA:
http://www.alsa-project.org/main/index. ... Vendor-ESI

Any chance to run this interface on Linux?
