linVST: UI OK, no text in drop down menus

Has anyone seen such a situation where the UI of a plugin is all right, but there's no text in the drop down menus ? Like this browsing of presets from this synth:

OK. How can it help with the problem ? It seems that the installation just by itself, will offer only a tool that can tweak wine in many ways and as such, will not resolve the problem just by being there.

Usually I get winetricks from their github page (clone or download) then I unzip it.

Then I change into winetricks-master/src/ (using the terminal) and type

./winetricks corefonts


What it does is install the truetype fonts (arial, times etc) into ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts

One thing left, and that's due to Bitwig since Mixbus32C does not do that, is that when the app is minimized, bringing it back will result in a black window, nothing shown. It shows well the first time after launch, but not after being minimized. In Mixbus32C it works well.
