Problem with kxstudio bootable USB

Hi,

I'm trying to install KXStudio on my lenovo X201
I already have Ubuntu 16.04.04 and Windows 10 installed

i've tried creating bootable USB with both Unetbootin and Universal USB installer
In both cases it gives me options to Start KXStudio or Boot first from hard Drive.

When I try to start KXStudio I get error message:

(initramfs) mount: mounting /dev/loop0 on //filesystem.squashfs failed: No such device
Can not mount /dev/loop0 (/cdrom/casper/filesystem.squashfs) on //filesystem.squash.fs

I'm at a bit of a loss so any help appreciated!

Cheers
Ben

I'm not that experienced in Linux and thought it would be easier to install the whole distro than mess about with the repo for each and every app, ALSA etc.
