Hello.,
Does anyone know a plugin that would simulate a strummed acoustic guitar (like session guitarist strummed acoustic of native instruments) that would run on Linux.
Thanks

Try acoustic guitars from here:
http://www.flamestudios.org/free/GigaSamples
Here's example where I use one:

You will need proprietary LinuxSampler though.

How about something like this?

This is a linux plugin I made awhile ago. You must unzip it to your home directory. It runs at 44khz. If it's what you're looking for, I've got a 48khz version also. View

Thanks for your replies.
I will have a look at flames' studio samples. Seems to be nice samples.
Jeff, i've tried your program in qtractor (seems that Ardour doesn't accept dssi) but i got no sound at all!
I opened a midi track with Strum Electric guitar, i've read the manual and tried to play chords, midi is well connected but i got no sound...

I think there are about ...uhm... a lot guitarists here already. And original almost alway's sounds better than sampled.
I agree with you.
But strumming samples are useful for me to build and experiment sounds in my songs.
If someone want to record guitar parts in my songs when i will finish them, he's totally welcome!!
I can do the same for bass parts!
