Some preliminaries:
Carla version 1.9.7 (2.0-beta5) -- installed through kxstudio repos, "carla-git"
My laptop is an Asus TP300L series laptop.
Problem: The plugins or vsti do not produce any sound although the sound meter is reflecting that a sound is produced.
Plugin used: Oxe FM Synth.

I left this untouched since I do not know what this is
I'm confused. I tried the helm vsti as a standalone and used ALSA as sound driver, it produced sound. But if I use carla, it doesn't.
Help me please
