I updated my Dell Linux firmware today. My bios now says I have version 01.00.07. I have an m.2 as my boot device, this firmware update broke my system. I wanted to post how I fixed it.
From the Bios Settings options
*General
Boot Sequence
Boot List Option
*UEFI > Add Boot Option
Boot Option Name > Whatever you want to name it
File System List > Did not change this
File Name > Click the "..." to search
select > efi > Ubuntu > shimx64.efi
Press "ok" then on next window "ok".
Select the new option as your UEFI boot device and un-select the Dell Linux Firmware option.
Then save new bios settings and reboot.
