Steinberg UR22, UR22 MkII and Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 2nd Gen support in current linux distributions

Hello!

I've found a lot of information on these audio interfaces but mostly the threads are quite old. What's the current support status of the Steinberg UR22, UR22 MkII and Focusrite Scarlett 2i2? Is there an important difference between the UR22 and the UR22 MkII regarding Linux support?

I'm using Xubuntu 16.04, plan to upgrade to the next LTS Version in April and also want to use the Interfaces under Windows 7 and Windows 10.
