The MIDI part allows you to create a MIDI track with the notes that should actually be played/sung and autotune tunes the recording to those notes. (I haven't tried it though.)

Yes i did falkTX, but couldn't get eny further.
But finotti cleared some again so i will try it again. That is, if i understand right that through midi i adjust the wrong vocal tone?

it will automatically detect the closest pitch and adjust the pitch to the closes tone. I only use the midi when I'm really trying to mess with stuff (like autotune the news type stuff). If you are more than a 1/2 step off you can select specific notes. The OSMP did a tutorial on it if you want to listen: https://archive.org/details/OSMP83

yes it can. But your daw is telling you it doesn't understand how to use the plugin (where to connect the midi port). Thats unfortunate. Which daw? if ardour IIRC you can make a midi+audio track for plugins like this and do a send to it.

It's Ardour 4.
If i read well, you say that if i crate a midi track it will probably load the plugin. I will try it and feedback on it later.

I recommend upgrading to the latest ardour 5. They've really improved things and its quite mature at this point.
