I have some fun with VCVRack, the octatonic scale, and allegory.

Ah! That's better

Interesting discussion on scales.
I never could really 'get' modulars, neither hardware nor soft, but that's just me.
I enjoyed the final result - a good bit of story telling.

I was mostly into playing blues when modulars were popular, so no, I didn't get them either. However, I'm very excited about the possibilities, and I'm slowly learning how to compose in a modular environment. The process is quite different from most of the work I've done with synths, I'm having a ball learning a new way of doing old things.
Best,

Thanks for correcting the link, sorry about that!
There's definitely a learning curve to modular synths, and I would probably not be so excited if I hadn't taken that college course that included modular synths. I think the key to appreciating them is understanding what they really excel at. Expressive and unique leads, weird analog sound effects, heavily-modulated sounds, etc.
Practically worthless for emulation, and (at least in the case of VCVRack) essentially monophonic.

Interesting experimental way produce music classical styles with analog synthesis devises or emulation soft. I think, that top end of evolution on this branch will be comeback from computer instruments to the physical acoustic cello, flutes, organs, haprichords, etc
Well done!
